This information is so interesting to me because there are a lot of people who recommend visualization to keep motivated in a goal. I wonder how does recalling a memory and then building on it for a bigger goal influence behavior compared to just starting a visualization from scratch? When I think of seeing something in a movie and recalling it in a memory, could that memory be used to help future actions even if they are not your own? I would love to see some research on that!!!
